Married to David Thorn and mother to Bentley (13) and Willow (10), Kandee Thorn lives in Wallendbeen near Cootamundra on the South West Slopes of NSW. Together with David she runs a cattle and sheep breeding/trading operation and a Feedlot.
Kandee has a degree in Media and Communications which she finds incredibly helpful whilst cleaning out the bunks in the feedlot. Prior to her current life on the farm she worked in retail management and packaging design.Kandee is a very bad campdrafter, only learning to ride after her second child but enjoys the social aspect of drafting and also contributing to others prize money.
She is a desperate shopaholic and slow marathon runner. Somebody once told her she could cook so when not away campdrafting she likes to entertain combining two of her other loves food and wine!
Kandee is the treasurer for the Jugiong Campdraft and has a passion for rural issues helping out with local sporting and charity committees. She loved being part of the 2016 Classic Ladies Foundation – working with an amazing inspiring group and looks forward to raising even more funds for worthy causes in the future.
