Originally from the cold plains of the Monaro, Karina now makes her home in Tumut NSW with her husband and their two girls. She has a passion for all things outdoors and a love of campdrafting, fitness and wine.
After studying to be a Registered Nurse and working clinically in the Intensive Care Unit for a number of years, a personal health scare resulted in a mandatory career change. Still based in health, Katrina worked in a variety of management positions before securing her current position as the Facility Manager for the Tumut Health Service.
Katrina believes her own personal experiences as well as her professional role, has exposed her to the wide variety of health issues affecting rural communities. Katrina was drawn to the Classic Ladies Foundation for the light we can shine on these issues and the support we can give to those in the Campdrafting community who are battling their own private health wars.
