Sophie suffered a life threatening illness while working on a cattle station in WA which forced her come back home where she worked at her old high school mentoring young students with stories of her experiences while working up north. This led to the creation of her own blog called “Lessons learnt in the Kimberley”. She is currently studying Secondary Teaching as well as working on building her own business of custom made leather products and tack repairs.
